ALLiANCE released the DVDRip of Another Year. British filmmaker Mike Leigh delivers another emotionally honest portrait of ordinary people trying to make sense of their lives in this comedy drama. Tom (Jim Broadbent) and Gerri (Ruth Sheen) are a couple who are drifting past middle age into their sixties; he’s a geologist and she’s a psychotherapist. First of all, this movie is nominated for the Razzy Award (worst movie of the year). Another nice movie brought to us by ALLiANCE, this time it’s The Thing 2011.We could expect the worst with this remake of The Thing from director Carpenter , but it is clear that the 2011 version comes out not so bad.
